The Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve is open 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week. The Scenic Area Visitor Center in Lee Vining is open April - November

Fees: There is a $3.00 per person fee to enter the South Tufa Area. Kids 16 and under are free.

Dogs on leashes may accompany visitors on all trails in the State Reserve and Scenic Area except for the Mono Lake County Park and State Reserve boardwalk below the Park where no dogs are allowed.

The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center is located on Highway 395, 13 miles east of Yosemite National Park, near the town of Lee Vining, California.
